Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
The short version: we collect almost nothing, we track nothing personally, and we sell nothing to anyone. Ever. This page explains exactly what we do and why.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we self-host on our own servers. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites.
What it does tell us:
- Which pages people visit and how long they stay
- What country visitors are broadly located in
- What device type and browser people use
- Where traffic comes from (e.g. search engines, social media)
All of this is aggregated. There are no individual profiles, no fingerprinting, and no way for us to identify you personally. Because Umami is cookie-free, you will never see a cookie consent banner on this site. There is nothing to consent to.
Email collection
If you choose to join our mailing list, we collect two things:
- Your first name
- Your email address
That is it. We use Listmonk, a self-hosted email platform running on our own servers. Your data never passes through third-party email marketing services. We do not share, sell, or hand over your information to anyone.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send.
Third-party tracking
There is none. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, retargeting scripts, or any other third-party tracking tool. No data about your visit leaves our servers.
Cookies
We use a single localStorage entry to remember your light/dark theme preference. That is stored in your browser and never sent to us. We set no cookies at all.
Data selling
We do not sell your data. We do not rent your data. We do not trade your data. There is no business model here that depends on monetising your attention or your information.
Hosting
The site, analytics, and email platform are all self-hosted on infrastructure we control. We do not rely on third-party SaaS platforms that might have their own data collection policies layered on top.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, we will update this page and note the date at the top. We are committed to keeping this policy as straightforward as the approach it describes.
